Audit & Risk
Deliver assurance work, raise integrity awareness, investigate staff behaviour and manage the Department’s approach to risk and security.
Procure, manage and deliver assurance on some of the government’s largest private commercial contracts.
Our operational arm made up of all frontline positions in prisons and the community across four regions, as well as specialist support groups based at National Office.
Provide financial management and support to business units nationwide.
Health, Safety and Wellbeing
Drive and enable outstanding health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes through a people-based continuous improvement operating model of "plan, do, learn and improve".
Provide support and advice on recruitment, induction, remuneration, payroll, development, training and other HR matters.
Provide specialist advice and support in Information Technology.
Provide legal services to Corrections including advice and legislation, litigation, commercial and prosecution support.
Provide cultural training and support to Corrections staff nationally and the development and delivery of specialist interventions.
Provide services to fulfil external organisational planning, reporting and assurance requirements, and secretariat services for the executive leadership team.
Lead the development, design, and implementation of a holistic and integrated people strategy including leadership, talent, inclusion and diversity programmes.
Provide specialist advice and support in the areas of property and facilities management across 18 prisons and 150+ community sites and offices nationwide.
Public Affairs and Communications
Manage the internal and external messages including management of reputational risk.
Build policy, practice, future service delivery models, and systems design capability.
