About our site

Northland Regional Corrections Facility (NRCF) is the first open style facility of its kind in Aotearoa (New Zealand). It is set in a quiet country location five kilometres east of Kaikohe. With room for up to 548 offenders, NRCF is a working prison with approximately 200 staff. The open style facility promotes freedom within defined boundaries and allows prisons to move within the facility and to take responsibility for their daily routine. It promotes a pro-social, proactive environment that best enables prisons to make a change.

Located in the Far North, if you are looking for sun and the great outdoors, then this is a great place to work and live.
